 NCTHA RIDE SANCTION

Sanction fee for TTC, DTC and STC $25
Dual sanction fee for AERC or NATRC ride $20
Benefits of sanctioning NATRC and AERC rides with NCTHA:
  • Broader advertisement of rides. All sanctioned rides are listed on the NCTHA ride schedule. This exposure puts riders not familiar with the different trail venues in touch with all of the different organizations recognized by NCTHA.
  • Access to NCTHA chat list for announcing ride and ride reminders.
  • Greater ride participation. Competitors in NCTHA dual sanctioned events receive performance bonus points toward year-end awards. This encourages riders who have only been participating in STC, DTC or TTC, all of which are always sanctioned, to try other venues recognized by NCTHA.
  • Ride managers from NATRC and AERC who choose to dual sanction with NCTHA give NCTHA members an opportunity to earn more performance points. This serves as an incentive to NCTHA members to enter the different kinds of sanctioned events, and will increase overall ride participation.
  • Dual sanctioning supports the NCTHA theme, "Uniting Trail Riders of America".
  • A large united organization has more impact on the horse industry as a whole, in marketing/new products, research, trail support, etc.
