2010 Ride Calendar

Yesterday was the initially Supreme Trail problem (just click on the title to look at out the webpage) and it was a good deal of fun. We camped at Seahorse Ranch overnight and rode the trails in the LBJ Grasslands. To begin with off we failed to pack warm garments. I received up in the center of Friday night to slumber in the pickup truck b/do I could not consider the tent smacking me in the forty mph wind. It really would make me would like I had someplace warmer and far more strong to rest…but all in great time I guess. The weather conditions was definitely stunning once the day started to warm up. Liberty was mainly well behaved, even though he had moments of tantrum like conduct. He ate and drank fantastically although–perhaps a very little way too beautifully. We had to do a gate, sidepass to a mailbox to mail a letter (neither of which we managed too nicely, but hey, he is green) We stood for a mount, which was very good, but not superb…hoping that if I can ultimately shed some body weight I can get superior at mounting. He completed the day without any little bit rubs or back or girth soreness. He's put together so properly. I imagine he's going to be a really great CTR/endurance journey. Jena had a excellent time on Dixie too. Maggie as a final point received 1st put…Jena obtained second. Their scores ended up extremely near. I managed to not even discover when somebody was snarky to me yesterday. The pictures were taken by John Nowell at the Lady Scout Scamper..
